Located at the geographical centre of San Bartolomé, Casa-Museo del Campesino was César Manrique’s way to recognise the efforts made by country people from Lanzarote, who faced treacherous conditions in order to bring the land back to life.
Casa-Museo del Campesino provides an insight into Architecture, Agriculture, Handicrafts and traditional Gastronomy, topped up by Monumento a la Fecundidad, an avant-garde piece of art used by César Manrique to pay his very own tribute.
