Malaga is much more than beach and sun, and a good proof of this is the Soho neighborhood in the capital of the Costa del Sol. The Soho Malaga, located in the heart of downtown Malaga, is the Barrio de las Artes and has been become the emblem of urban art and the city's underground culture.

The conversion of this traditional neighborhood to Barrio de las Artes was an initiative of the people of Malaga, who wanted to rehabilitate the area between the Alameda Principal avenue and the Heredia Pier.
The most characteristic when arriving at Soho are, without a doubt, the great graffiti that decorate the buildings of the neighborhood. Work of the well-known artists Obey, author of the iconic portrait of Barack Obama with the legend Hope (Esperanza), and D * face, whose urban interventions are present in cities such as New York and Barcelona and other urban artists, star in the views of the neighborhood. These works are included in the Maus project, which aims to turn the city into a great mural of artists from all over the world.
